A well-cut lawn is key for the vigour of the grass … not cut too low … not left to grow too long.
The frequency of lawn cutting will vary across the year and it will vary depending on whether you have a ‘cool season’ grass like Fescue or a ‘warm season grass’ like Buffalo.
Typically, our gardening teams will cut lawns fortnightly over the growing seasons and every 4 weeks over winter. A warm season grass will need to be cut more frequently over the hot months, and a cool season grass will need to be cut more frequently over Spring and Autumn.
When the lawn is lush and green, and it has just been cut and edged, the rest of the garden looks so much better.
